I have to go with the wilted berries. Why? They remind me of wrinkled old people, each with its own story to tell. There is nothing better than a wrinkled old person with a story to share!
goose prints. they convey a silence and a peace in having remained undisturbed long enough for the photo to have been taken. makes me yearn to soak up that silence. i looked at the pic and heard snow gently falling at a slant, smelled the sweet frozen dormancy of unseen foliage, and could see my breath. just for a second. it was enough. thank you for that pic.
